Diving in the Red Sea, if you start from Rome, is inexpensive...about $1400 including full board, air fare and everything you can think of except the beer and your dive gear. Here are the people who went last October:
Lorraine the Deep Diving Dolly, Pam the Swami of Sweat, Sir Mark the Swift, Paul the Overseer, Bill, Steve the Stench and Just-in-time Justin. Each of the nicknames was well earned. Lorraine was always the deepest diver, Pam did over an hour's worth of exercises every morning, no one could catch Mark, Paul was always the shallowest, Steve...well, and Justin's sick stomach always kept him near the bathroom.
What do you mean, I can't go? Maybe next time Carol.
