To make Lemoncello:  

Sylvia's Recipe: 1/2 liter of pure alcohol.   Soak peels of three lemons for three days in the alcohol.  Mix two cups of sugar in 1/2 liter of water.  Remove the lemon peels and combine the alcohol and the sugared water.  Put in the freezer for several hours.  Sip from 2 ounce plastic cups (Italian Crystal).  Sleep well.

Nancy's Recipe:  2 cups of alcohol. 2 3/4 cups water, 2 cups sugar, 6 lemons.  Same instructions as above.

Steve's Recipe:  5 cups of alcohol, 5 cups water, 4 cups sugar, 10 to 12 lemons.  Put enough lemon peels in so the alcohol barely covers.  Let set for 10-12 days.  Same instructions as above.
